2024: The Cables to Jumpstart
Welcome to 2024, a year where we are gearing up to jumpstart our lives, much like reviving a vehicle with a dead battery. According to Oxford, to jumpstart means to infuse energy into a situation, and this year, we are focusing on jumpstarting various aspects of our lives – be it in our walk with Christ, relationships, business, finances, or personal growth.
Just like jumpstarting a car with jumper cables, it’s crucial to connect the right charges to the right places. In life, too, if we don’t align ourselves with the right energies and directions, nothing substantial will happen, regardless of our efforts.
Jumpstart, as an idiom, implies injecting external force to kickstart a process. As we enter 2024, some of us may think everything is fine and no jumpstart is needed. However, every new year serves as a cable, initiating change and propelling us towards new destinations.
Our lives, much like vehicles, can get stuck in the traffic of life. A vehicle in motion rarely stops abruptly; it gives warnings before slowing down. Similarly, a life in motion doesn’t need a jumpstart – it’s the halted ones that do.
In the Bible, the concept of jumpstart is found in Genesis 2:7. Man was created with everything intact, yet couldn’t function until God breathed life into him. This divine breath jumpstarted humanity, turning him into a living soul. The Holy Spirit is the cable we need in all aspects of our lives to get things going.
Acts 2:1-4 illustrates the sudden and powerful impact of the Holy Spirit. Just like a cable might not always start on the first try, in 2024, if we attach ourselves to the breath of God, there will be a sudden change in the trajectory of our lives.
Learn to quiet yourself and connect with God. When the Holy Spirit comes, there’s an electric jolt that transforms lives. Change your language from negative to positive, aligning your confessions and affirmations with the divine cables available in 2024.
In the same way, when God first created the earth, it was formless and void. Speaking things into existence, God jumpstarted creation. Likewise, in 2024, allow the Holy Spirit to hover and breathe into the void areas of your life. Change your language, speak positivity, and watch your creations transform.
This year, use 2024 as the divine cable to jumpstart your life. Whether it’s your marriage, business, career, or personal goals – the Holy Spirit is available. Allow Him to breathe fresh life into your endeavors, changing the language of your existence and bringing forth the transformation you’ve been longing for.
