Mid-Year Newsletter: Celebrating Blessings and Impactful Moments

Thank God for seeing us safely through the first half of the year! We hope this newsletter finds you filled with joy and gratitude as we reflect on the incredible journey we have had so far this year. The past six months have been nothing short of remarkable, filled with meaningful themes, impactful events, and opportunities to extend a helping hand to those in need. Let’s take a moment to look back at the highlights of each month:

January: “My hands are blessed”

We started the year with a focus on the blessings that come from our hands. It reminded us of the power we possess to bring about positive change in our lives and the lives of others.

Through our collective efforts, we made a positive impact in the lives of many, reminding ourselves that our hands are blessed when used to bring hope and joy to those around us.

February: “True love”

Love was in the air throughout the month of February. We delved into the depths of true love, exploring its various facets and the importance of cultivating it in our relationships.

Our first event of the quarter was an unforgettable worship night on February 11. Souls were ignited with the fire of pure devotion, leaving us craving more divine moments in His glorious presence.

March: “Marching orders”

This month was all about receiving our marching orders from God. We sought His guidance and direction for the path ahead, aligning our actions with His divine purpose. With marching orders from the Lord, we embarked on various missions to make a difference in the lives of others. Our annual mission trip took place under the auspices of Shallum Foundation, enabling us to touch the lives of many through acts of kindness and love.

During our mission trip, we made an impactful visit to Nsawam Prisons female section, offering encouragement and care packs to the inmates. In Tamale, we also brought love and support to widows, orphans, and preached at local churches. In Accra,  we had the opportunity to visit two prominent maternity hospitals to provide encouragement to the staff and patients, as well as donate essential baby care items and help some needy patients settle their bills.

April: “Amazing April”

April brought a wave of awe-inspiring experiences. We witnessed the wonders of God’s grace and provision. It was a month filled with awe-inspiring moments and testimonies that reminded us of the amazing things God can do in our lives. The highlight of the month was the Sabbath Retreat that took place from April 20-22. It was a much-needed break from our hectic lives, allowing us to pause, reflect, and experience sweet fellowship and worship in the presence of our Heavenly Father. The retreat left us feeling refreshed and renewed, ready to continue our mission with renewed vigor.

As we entered May, we cherished the special moments spent in the presence of God. We dedicated time to deepen our relationship with Him, seeking His guidance and wisdom. May was a time of intimate connection with our Heavenly Father. We gathered on Zoom, offering both morning and evening sacrifices, not seeking anything from God but solely to exalt and adore Him through praise and worship. We cherished those special moments of communion with Him, knowing that in His presence, we find strength, peace, and joy.

June: “Jubilant June”

The month of June overflowed with jubilation and praise. We rejoiced in all that God had done and continued to do in our lives.. As the mid-year approached, we rejoiced in the goodness of God, celebrating His faithfulness and the abundant blessings we experienced along the way.

We have an incredibly large and thrilling project in the pipeline! …The renovation and revival of Nsawam Female Prison bakery. This initiative will not only provide skill training opportunities to the inmates but also serve as a profitable venture. As always, your support remains crucial in transforming our projects into reality.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you who generously donated, volunteered, and supported our initiatives. Your contributions have made a tangible difference in the lives of many, and we are truly grateful for your partnership.

As we enter the second half of the year, we eagerly anticipate the new adventures and opportunities that await us. Together, let us continue to be vessels of love, compassion, and hope, extending God’s grace to those who need it most.

Blessings,

Annette Dei
